Saturday School of Wellbeing
Finding Out Who You Really Are in Christ
This course is designed to aid students in understanding the personal and profound transformation that occurs at an individual’s born again experience. It will also address the ongoing process growing and maturing in your identity and ways to nurture your authentic self in God’s divine design.

Teacher Biography:
Dr. Emmett L. Jones holds a Doctorate in Multi-Cultural Community Clinical Psychology. His doctorate research findings found a positive correlation between prayer and psychological well-being under the mentorship of Dr. Charles Kraft, formerly of Fuller Theological Seminary.
Dr. Jones is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist. He has taught over 35 years in several colleges and presently teaches American Sign Language (ASL) at the university level. In his professional and ministry work, he saw the need for more biblical/discipleship training among Christians and subsequently founded the Wellspring Life Center (WLC) in 2009. The WLC’s Resource and Training Center aims to support the Christian community, cross-culturally and cross-denominationally with Christ-Centered programs that foster personal and spiritual growth in the life of the believer.
Hearing God’s Voice for Guidance and Direction
This is a beginner course designed for persons interested in growing their ability to hear God’s voice in harmony with biblical scriptures through the Holy Spirit in the life of the believer.

Teacher Biography:
Elizabeth Brown has spent many years as an ordained minister since 1994, teaching and training people on how to hear the voice of God. She graduated and served on the ministry team at Gateway Ministries for over 9 years. She established the Rhema School and has developed and conducted conferences and training seminars for several churches in the Richmond area. She has also served as a ministerial consultant in the marketplace at both state and federal organizations.
She is a published author of the book “Somebody Should Have Told Me”, and has served as a leader on several boards and ministries such as the SELAH ministry for singles. Ms. Brown is a psalmist and also has served as a worship leader and has a heart to build-up the body of Christ. One of her main life missions has been to help others grow in their intimate relationship with the Lord and use their spiritual gifts in service to Him
Introduction to the Christ-Centered Model for Relationships
This beginner course presents a model developed from the scriptures showing practical and clear guidelines in establishing Godly and healthy Christ-Centered relationships.

Teacher Biography:
Dr. Carlos deJesus holds a Doctor of Divinity in Bible Doctrine and is a certified Christian Life Coach and Christian Counselor. A gifted apostolic-prophetic teacher, he combines biblical truth with practical, Spirit-led teaching to help believers grow in spiritual maturity, overcome obstacles, and fulfill their God-given purpose. A significant focus of his ministry is his Christ-Centered Relationship Model, providing biblical guidance for the healthy progression of relationships – from acquaintance to intentional courtship and covenant marriage – with an emphasis on wisdom, discernment, healthy boundaries, and God’s design for all relationships.
A 1985 Natural-for-Life Professional World Bodybuilding Champion and Virginia’s only Medical Exercise Therapist, Carlos also brings more than 50 years of experience in disciplined living and personal transformation. His ministry equips believers to become mature in Christ, healthy relationships, and prepared to fulfill God’s purposes for their lives.

Teacher Biography:
Dr. Sue deJesus DCC. holds a Doctorate in Christian Counseling and is certified as a Professional Life Coach, Disaster Relief Coach, and Vocational Coach. For several decades, as a Prophet to the Church, she has equipped believers to hear the Lord accurately, develop their prophetic gifts, and minister wisdom and discernment. She also mentors many in living a Spirit-led life. Her master’s thesis, a comprehensive manual for establishing Schools of Prophetic Ministry, has been used in Richmond, Virginia, for more than three decades.
Dr. deJesus is also sought after for her teaching and insights into dream interpretation, and she serves as a spiritual life coach and accountability partner. For the past ten years, she has taught with the Wellspring Training Center, equipping believers for Spirit-led living and ministry.
Tuesday Night Deep Dive Classes
Gaining a Perspective on Israel’s History and Prophecies in Scripture
This course will give a Christian perspective and overview of Israel and its unique place in history and modern times. Students will survey prophecies that have been fulfilled and scriptures yet to be filled as it relates to the second coming of Christ.

Teacher Biography:
Jimmy Johnson holds an MA from Virginia Commonwealth University in Curriculum and Instruction and taught 36 years in Hanover Public Schools. Over the past 15 years he has excavated in Israel at 5 Biblical sites over 9 seasons mostly under Dr. Yossi Garfinkel of Hebrew University. He has made many friends and contacts with Israelis of all ages and religious persuasions.

This course will focus on the power and practice of prayer and its transformative power in our daily lives as it is exampled for believers in scriptures.
